The FabberTool LAOS is a next-level tuning tool that takes precision bow setup to an entirely new standard. It allows limb alignment, setting the center-shot, and fine-tuning the sight with mechanical accuracy far beyond what the naked eye could ever achieve. The name says it all:

With this tool, endless debates and guesswork about the "correct" alignment of different elements are finally a thing of the past.
As part of the Fabber product range, the FabberTool LAOS is a purely digital product. The central component is geometry data in STL format, from which real tools can be created using 3D printing. In addition to this geometry data, there is an (extended) PERSONAL USE license and a detailed tutorial with interesting additional information about the overall package.
The FabberTool LAOS data set contains a total of four different STL models - for both sides of the Beiter Recurve/Compound Limb Line Gauge.

The FabberTool LAOS integrates seamlessly with components most archery enthusiasts (hopefully) have at hand:
4 x Beiter Limb Line Gauges
2 x arrows (with pointed tip)
8 x hair ties/rubber bands
Two combinations of FabberTool LAOS and Beiter Limb Line Gauge are mounted on the outside of a limb. Together, they hold an arrow acting as a pointer.

When relying purely on visual alignment, finding the right reference point for limb alignment, center-shot, and sight setup is often the biggest challenge.
By attaching two arrows on the outside of the limbs, the FabberTool LAOS creates an additional reference plane. This makes it easier to define the true center of the bow and align all key components with confidence.
By positioning two arrows along the limb centerline, the FabberTool LAOS creates an additional reference point or reference plane for precise alignment of the bow.

The problem with visual alignment is simple: the human eye can’t focus on every control point at once. Even the slightest movement of the bow - or the observer - creates uncertainty and leaves room for interpretation.
With the FabberTool LAOS, the mounted pointers consolidate the entire alignment into one clear point of reference. No shaking, no guessing - just precise readings and exact adjustments.
Firstly, the relative position of the two arrows reveals exactly how the limbs are aligned - and whether (and how) adjustments are needed.
Secondly, the position of the center shot can be adjusted extremely precisely with the help of the two arrows.
Thirdly, The sight pin can be placed precisely in the true center of the bow - no more guessing, just exact positioning.
